How do I get started?

Start by filling out our New Client Form. From there, we can discuss your pet’s individual needs and set up a $15 consultation at your home. This meeting takes approximately 30 minutes to meet you and your pet(s), learn your routine and get all of the deets we need.

What kind of pets do you care for?

Accepted Answer

Anything and everything! We care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, livestock (such as horses, cows, goats), chickens, etc. Not sure if we can care for your specific breed? Connect with us today!

Why do I need a professional pet sitter over a friend or neighbor?

Accepted Answer

While having a trusted neighbor or friend pop in and care for your pet(s) seems simple, there are many factors to consider. Hiring House of Paws Pet Care means you don’t impose on your friends and their busy schedules. Also, should an emergency come up with your friend, your pet(s) may be left without care. If you’re ever delayed, we are always prepared to continue watching your pet(s) until you can safely make it home.

Is the sitter I meet the same sitter who will be in my home?

Typically, at least two sitters will service your home based on availability! House of Paws Pet Care always has a qualified backup sitter ready in case of illness or emergency. This is also one of the benefits of using a professional pet sitting company vs. a neighbor or friend!

Do you stay overnight?

We don't do overnight stays but our Almost Overnight coverage comes pretty close! Instead of one person sleeping on your couch, we build a visit schedule that keeps your pet well-loved and well-cared-for around the clock.

Here's how it works: we offer a two-hour late-night visit so your pet is settled, comfortable, and not alone at the end of the day plus a 45-minute early-morning visit to start their day off right. And throughout the day, you can schedule as many visits as you'd like. It's fully customizable around your pet's needs and your peace of mind.

Your pet gets one-on-one attention every single visit, not a walker juggling ten other animals in a facility overnight. 🐾

Question 10

What if I need to cancel?

We understand things come up and don’t always happen as planned. We only charge cancellation fees for anything canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Anything outside of that 24-hour window is not charged. However, please notify us immediately as soon as you know you don’t need a visit.
