Brooke F.

Team Lead & Pet Care Provider

I was born and raised in St. Louis. I graduated in 2025 from UMSL with a bachelors in psychology and will be going back to school to become a professional medical coder this year! When I’m not caring for critters you can find me spending time with family, riding horses, & traveling the world!
I’ve always loved animals and have a passion for pet care! I have had dogs all my life and have lots of experience with caring for dogs of different breeds and temperaments. I also have many years of experience caring for cats, horses, and small furry critters as well.
I am an equestrian at heart and love riding horses and hanging out at the barn!

Get to know Brooke:

Do you have any pets of your own?

I have rescue 2 pups! Theo who is a Boston terrier/Shih tzu mix, and Ryder who is a Boston terrier/beagle mix! I also have a female syrian hamster named Oreo.

Why did you start working in pet care?

My family and I have always loved dogs and I have always been very passionate about animals and animal care! I started working at the barn at 15 and was a working student for several years. I helped my parents for many years with their pet sitting business up until they decided to “retire” from the field. Pet care has always been a part of my daily life so being able to do this as my job is amazing!

Fav part about working with House of Paws?

House of paws is truly like my second family! Management and my fellow sitters are just incredible and extremely supportive! From my very first day, I could feel the passion and love that House of Paws has for pet care and I’m so grateful to be a part of that! And of course getting to spend time with all kinds of critters is amazing for an animal lover like myself!
