I am originally from St. Louis. I lived in Illinois for 17 years during which time my ex-husband and I owned a 130 acre farm. We had horses, sheep, goats, cows, chickens and of course dogs! Our two boys grew up on the farm and one is now a farrier in the St Louis area. My current husband and I now reside in the Pacific/Eureka area and are both retired. I spend my time riding my horse, enjoying our two Gooden Retrievers and spending time with our grandson.
My passions are horseback riding, baking and being outdoors.
I love all animals and am fortunate to get to experience many of them through working for House of Paws.

Do you have any pets of your own?
I currently own one horse and two Golden Retrievers.
Why did you start working in pet care?
I have always loved animals! When I retired from a 37 year career this past year I knew I wanted to keep working. It was only natural that I do something I love which is working with animals!
Fav part about working with House of Paws?
I have a great respect for Maris, the owner. She has created an amazing business model and is so professional. I enjoy working with the different animals and meeting the owners (when possible).
