Hi! I’m Lauren, originally from central Illinois, but a St. Louis local for the past 13 years. I have three kids, two dogs, and a big soft spot for animals of all kinds. I love long dog walks, chill time with cats, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and spoiled 🐾

Do you have any pets of your own?
Yes! I have two dogs—Lucy (half husky, half a delightful mix of eight other breeds 😉) and Mika (half husky, half heeler, with never-ending energy!).
Why did you start working in pet care?
I love taking care of animals, so when I was looking for a part-time job and came across House of Paws, I realized there’s nothing I’d rather do with my extra time!
Fav part about working with House of Paws?
My favorite part is getting to meet so many animals and all their unique personalities! It’s especially fun seeing some pets every week, you really form strong bonds with them. Plus, I love being outside, so getting paid to walk dogs and experience all the seasons together is pretty much the best 🐾🍂☀️
