Yes! All of our dog walkers are House of Paws employees, not independent contractors, and receive hands-on, ongoing training. Each team member is Pet First Aid & CPR certified and trained in: • Canine body language • Positive reinforcement handling • Leash safety and route planning You can trust us to handle every tail-wagging adventure with skill and care.

Absolutely! Many of our walkers are experienced with reactive and special-needs dogs. Let us know your pup’s needs in your intake form or during the Meet & Greet. Safety and comfort come first!

Building trust and routine is super important (especially for the shy pups!). While we aim to keep the same primary walker with your dog for consistency, House of Paws is proudly team-based and that comes with some awesome perks! All of our staff are: • W2 employees (no contractors) • Trained in the same House of Paws protocols • Pet First Aid & CPR certified • Trained in positive reinforcement, canine behavior, and safety handling That means every member of our team provides the same high standard of care, no matter who’s holding the leash. Our team approach ensures: • Reliable coverage, even if your usual walker is out • Your dog gets love and familiarity from more than one friendly face ❤️ • No last-minute cancellations or scrambling for backups You'll always know who’s visiting your pet (thanks to your client portal updates!), and we’ll communicate any changes ahead of time because peace of mind is part of the walk.

Safety is our top priority, for your dog, your home, and our walkers. We also do not allow your dog to interact with other dogs, people, or animals during our walk time, unless specifically approved by you and pre-arranged. This helps prevent overstimulation, unexpected reactions, or unsafe situations. Your dog gets our full attention, and every walk is designed to be structured, calm, and enjoyable for them, no crowded dog park chaos here. We also use slip & clip style leashes (aka Rescue Rope Leads) to ensure secure, quick control without relying on client gear. These leads are vet-approved and help prevent accidental slip-outs during walks!

Rain or shine, we’ve got your dog covered! 🌧️☀️ We'll tailor the walk based on conditions, sometimes that means a potty break + indoor play instead of a full stroll. We always wipe paws and make sure to get any mud off before coming home, too! No soaked paws here!

Yes! After every walk, you’ll receive a detailed report card in your client portal with: • Start/end times • Potty updates 💩✅ • Route summary • Notes about the walk (mood, energy, fun moments!) • Adorable photos 📸
